Well firtley and most importantly my baby graduates today and has the lead in guys and dolls too, im so proud of her she got flowers already from Drew B. and im hopinmg she gets them from her co godfatherrs ( its sorta ended up this way) Edward ( Norton) and Stipe, and all else, so im really proud of that.
This band finding trip tp London was 100% intuitive and allwere against it, but it might be the single most brilliamnt thing ive ever done based on gut, ever.
Our first practice was last night w Pete and Paul ( Nate who i know Linda wants to jkeep fpr studio work or id have grabbed him so damm fast) had the flu but Stu was the one who is themost expirienced ha sthe Bonham ./Fleetwood i need, so they are soooo YOUNG Micko Larkin is only 20 and cute and a guitar super genius, Liam ( who very shyly models omn the side) is maybe the prettiest boy ive seen since Kurt, and he can play like hell too, Patrizia who came via the CSS girls and Babyshambles bassist Drew, i did NOT want women, and when she walked in all looking like an Argentinian Jessica Rabbit iwas like “no way caN SHE PLAY” and she nailed ot all tgo the wall, she also platyed pro hockey as a kid and then got tp be a bad girl, somehow she ended up in London,
were all living together Monkees style i wanna see how we do even tho theers plenrty of priovacy and bedrooms(5!) in the poolhouse most are in the house and even the baby thinks they are adorable, i was so nervous making them their first pot of tea, did i stillhave the teaq touch? it was a good pot and only 3 hours of work lastnight, but for day 1 Pete and Paul ( mny guys from teh record) swore theyd tell me the truth and Pete texted me from somehow having coffee with DSHAKIRA ( Sorry Perte is too good- in fact its genius did you get a dance?) and we wentot he chat after and i got thdem a bottle of 1974 winbe realising not one of them had been born before that wine, and they both did leader stuff teaching timing and chiords even tho these guys have been opracticing thioer asses off some of thier chords were wromng and they didnt know what songs needed kapos etc, and Billy mad eteh cdhoruses on loserdust and SAamantha DIFFERENT EASCH CHORUS.
