I love his mother but shes been taken advantage of in my opinion and from now one after our discussion today she will be repped by
proper lawyers by people who approach her for his childhood things so she can maximise her income in these transactions.
IM very dissapointed in the people in the house at the time of Kurts death= Executives and whatnot stealing his vinyl and items, but the most important and bulk of things i am in possession of, although about half of our private snapshots were put on the net- due to a few crooked assts and Brooke from KR who got a whole box of babydoll dresses and a few of Kurts sweaters and never returned them, and fter visting my home snapshotshad simply dissapeared, then again theres the mystery of the Kittyradio.com AMEX wihc charged 758k in 3 months in March 02- two new BMWs were purchased on thatcard and on thatvisit she was driving a new BMW, the mystery shall be solved, there were 17 amesx i was not aware of applied for and money spent, tht 758k was actually FRANCES’S money and i had to pay it all back when we were especially broke, but no matter the FBI are all over it and well find out what happened and who did what at some point/
in any case I am in possession as i said of a veryvery full storaage space full of his guitars amps poetry lyrics hair ( even obviously ill keep some but lots of it it maybe too morbid) theres copies of many lyrics, and casts i had made of his hands,and i dont think the art is for sale atleast not until it is shown in London this year, so the value is made clear.
Ive been approached by several private collectors- and id prefer that to a whole kerfuffle of an auction and scattering to the four winds his very few guitars and sweaters, ( one fetched 140 ,000 pounds t auction s wichis 280 000 dollars) its all organised well and the things from the house wich i broughtto the space for the most part have been assessed by a professional at the very least,40 million dollars, so obviously most will go to charity since the money isnt what im that interested in, but itsreally an exchange of energy- we dont need all of this stuff and other people really want it.
Obviously well keep more than enough of his stuff - hi smonkey collection- thingsthatmattered to him for Franny and her family- butEdward Norton and i had a discussion about this and he thought thiswas thebest idea id had in a long time- move that energy out intothe universe, stop sleepingin his pjs, etc, use the money for good works and good investments.
Theres three billionares interested in purchasing the whole lot, and if they are willing to not attemot to rip the family off as these things will just go up in value, i would be happy to sell it all to the one with the best deal and the best manners towards the energy of the items.
Im not into anyone trying tobargain with me, when the assesment is actually very conservative, and theres quite a few auction houses actually that do this, so the one quoted although im interested in them -there are other options as well.
theres a very large commission to pay, but perhaps - after dealingwith billionares for many years - and the level at wich they some of them try to not pay full value- wich is absurd, this price may seem high but the people who want to sell these things are confidentbecause of the scarcity of his things and the demand that it is a conservtive estimate, Ill be happy to be able to contribute as isaid most of the proceeds to charities and to make some good investments for my daughter.
it really is a mauseleoum and obviously the prices will skyrocket after the biopic and documentaries are done, but im ready to get this burden of all these items and these thingsthat womntmatter to Franny or me off my back, now.
I was approached through a lawyer by another interested collector in Japan today so well see who will just do the deal, take what i dont need or want off my hands and not select this or that, its one lot in thecase of a private collector, nomessing around and no room for negotiation, well im sure a little but not much, theres fart toom uch competition for that, so whomever wants the best collection of his things we no longer need in our world, can have them at a very little price for them.
Otherwise i need to decide between auction houses and wich ones i feel most comfortable with.

Producers have approached me about his amps wanting toget that authentic Nirvana sound, etc etc, the demand is huge for thesethingsandhas been for many years, i simply was not meotionally ready to let these things go and if i get messed about i wont sell anything at all until thetim eis right again.
Thi sstory shouldnot have leaked and no auction house should havebeenmentioned but it was, this was to be a private transaction and if not rolled out far differently= but something told in confidence made it into the media, and now i am stuck with it so i felt i should say something about it( the rticle was mostly about my record btw)its a win win situation as long as noone tries to take advantage of us. I will not tolerate that i will simply withdraw the item/s and wait as isaid until the time is right again.
Ive already dealth with one person tryng to negotiate, and i will not be dealing nor will his mother be dealing with that person, i fifnd it shameful when onehas billions of dollars to try to take advantage of someones ignorance about the worth of their own memories or properties.
Havingbeen ripped off massively by lawyers loan officers assts and horrific boyfriends since Kurts death and during Kurts life this will not be happening again.
On the other hand some of these guys seems quite nice and enthusiatic and positive so it should be a win win for all involved with no drama and no nonsense.
justa fast clean interaction where everyone feels good and has a positive expirience from this exchange of energies.
I know of one collector who believes theyhave a guitar of Kurts but it is a fake they were ripped off. the guitars were all accounted for and inventoried. Kurt SIGNED many guitars that does not mean they were actually his.
Anyway i foresee no problems as long as nooone tries to play games here,itis what it is, and in my life noone rips me off ever again. or takes advantage of me. i m afinacially secure and do not need the hassle.
so i expect a very poistive outcome for the charities i have chosen and for family investments, again its justenergy being exchanged money is an energy as much as a sweater or a guitar is an energy.
so thats that.
This is to move foreward in our lives and get on with things and contribute to some very worthy causes that might havehelped Kurt when he was alive ( he was ripped off whil ehe was alive extriridnarily) i have excellent representation and business management now and legal counsel and i did not have these things previously.
so once again this is a win win and i foresee no drama and no pernicousness and a fair and easy trade, there will be no problems here and if there is i will simply withdraw these items until another time.
But i do feel thebesttime is now even though the doc and the movie will push the prices up muchmore than present day, i would liketounburden myself andmy family from all these reminders thatare not keepsakes to us anymore and will never be to my child or her children,
ultim,ately like money its just stuff.
Perople infuse it with value and meaning.
Hope all goes easily and well - problems such as greed will just make sure that i withdraw these items until the right time or person comes along. But i doubtthat will happen.
